We were given John's name on a list of practitioners by BUPA when my husband had a severe problem with his back which just seized up when bending. After a week of no improvement we were desperate. Whilst not the closest to us he had good reviews so I emailed with some urgency to be seen. He contacted us the same evening, quite late, and we were given an appointment for the following morning. He met us by the car, husband could hardly get out, let alone walk. We were lifted in spirits when the previous patient exited proclaiming that he could now walk! This must be the place for miracles we thought. And sure enough John knows his stuff and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. With some treatment there and then and a set of exercises to do daily there has been a great improvement. He has made my husband feel and look 10 years younger in one session! Would highly recommend and so glad we found him.
I went to see John Higgs on the recommendation of a friend last Saturday. I had a crash on my bicycle three weeks ago and had severe bruising and a large haematoma on my left thigh as well as other injuries. My GP told me it would take six weeks for me to be back on my bike and I was feeling very dispondent. I have seen John three times in the last six days and the transformation in my condition has been astonishing. As well as the treatment, he has given me some really good advice to continue my rehab and what to look out for in terms of any ongoing issues. I thought my cycling season was ruined but thanks to John I will resume some very gentle training over the weekend and as a result will only miss two events rather than the six I feared. This time last week I was struggling to walk and get out of bed!His wealth of knowledge and experience shines through and I would recommend his services without hesitation.John Malyckyj
Really responsive to email query, next day appointment and treatment perfect. A very reliable and honest physician whom I would recommend to anyone needing help. My issue was both nerve and muscular related in my neck and shoulder and I was given a diagnosis in terms I could understand !
Amazing physio - I cannot recommend John @ The sports Injury clinic, highly enough. I had some problems with my knee. After an initial consultation he was honest and said I could have a number of issues. He advised me to have an X-ray and MRI which he assisted me with. He confirmed his plan of action with a surgical expert and has put me on the road to recovery . John is an incredibly talented physio and has many years experience working with top end athletes. He is very friendly, honest and approachable, and works on a pay as you go treatment.
